The Ground
The Borussia-Park is the home of Borussia Mönchengladbach and one of the most impressive modern football stadiums in Germany. Located in Mönchengladbach, it has hosted the club’s home matches since 2004, replacing the historic Bökelbergstadion, where Borussia enjoyed many of its greatest successes.
With a capacity of 54,057, Borussia-Park was purpose-built as a football stadium, offering modern facilities while keeping supporters close to the pitch. Its fully enclosed bowl design helps generate a powerful atmosphere, especially in the Nordkurve, where Borussia’s most passionate supporters gather to create the noise, colour and energy that define matchdays in Mönchengladbach.
One of the stadium’s most distinctive features is its location within Borussia-Park, a large club complex that includes training pitches, the club offices, fan facilities and the FohlenWelt, Borussia Mönchengladbach’s official museum.
Official Tickets
Buy through the official online Borussia Mönchengladbach Ticket Shop. All home match tickets are released here. Borussia Mönchengladbach releases tickets in stages. Club members receive priority access before tickets go on general sale, giving them the best opportunity to secure seats for high-demand Bundesliga fixtures and cup matches. While membership does not guarantee a ticket, it significantly improves your chances of attending the club's biggest games.
Ticket Office. Tickets can also be purchased through the club's ticket office and service centre if they remain available.
For popular fixtures, such as matches against 1. FC Köln, Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich, or major cup ties, tickets can sell out quickly.
If a home match is sold out, Borussia Mönchengladbach also offers an official secondary ticket market through its ticket shop. This allows season ticket holders to resell their seats safely through the club, making it the safest and most reliable way to purchase resale tickets at face value.

How to get to the Stadium
Via Train
Mönchengladbach Hauptbahnhof (Hbf), The station is served by frequent ICE, IC, RE and RB services from cities including Düsseldorf, Cologne, Aachen, Duisburg and Dortmund. From Mönchengladbach Hbf take Bus 017 from Europaplatz (outside the main station) towards Nordpark and get off at Nordpark Busbahnhof, which is just a short walk from Borussia-Park. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes.
Matchday shuttle buses: On home matchdays, Borussia Mönchengladbach operates free shuttle buses from Mönchengladbach Hauptbahnhof and Rheydt Hauptbahnhof directly to the stadium. Services begin around three hours before kick-off, run every five minutes, and continue for up to two hours after the final whistle.
If you have a valid match ticket, public transport within the VRR and AVV transport networks is generally included, making the shuttle buses and local transport the quickest and most convenient way to reach Borussia-Park without worrying about parking.
By Car
From the A61 motorway: take Exit 11 – Mönchengladbach-Holt and follow the signs for Borussia-Park. If you are approaching from the north or south, this is the quickest and most direct route to the stadium. For your sat-nav: Enter Am Borussiapark, 41179 Mönchengladbach as your destination.
Supporters can use the official stadium car parks surrounding Borussia-Park. Public parking is available in areas including P4, P6/P7 and other designated matchday parking areas, with more than 9,000 parking spaces available around the stadium. Parking attendants and temporary signage direct supporters to the nearest available car park. If possible, pre-booking a parking space is recommended for popular Bundesliga matches.

Düsseldorf Airport (DUS), Best for international flights. Distance: 35 km. Travel Time: Journey time is approximately 30–40 minutes by car. 45-60 minutes by public transport.
Cologne-Bonn Airport (CGN). Distance: 65 km. Travel Time: 50-60 minutes by car or train
Weeze Airport (NRN). Distance: 75 km. Serving several low-cost airlines, although public transport connections are less convenient.
Eindhoven Airport (EIN). Distance: 95 km. Travel Time: 1 hour 15 minutes by car.

Before and After the Match
Haus Zoar (Mönchengladbach City Centre). One of Mönchengladbach's most traditional pubs, Haus Zoar is a favourite meeting place for Borussia supporters. Known for its classic German beers, hearty regional dishes and lively atmosphere, it is a popular stop before making the journey to BORUSSIA-PARK.
Alter Markt Mönchengladbach. The historic market square in the city centre is home to numerous pubs, bars and cafés. On matchdays, Borussia supporters gather here to enjoy food and drinks before taking the bus or shuttle service to the stadium.
Bolten Brauerei Ausschank (Kaiserstraße). Serving beers from Germany's oldest Altbier brewery, this traditional pub is popular with both locals and visiting supporters. Its authentic atmosphere and selection of regional beers make it an excellent pre-match destination.
Die Nachtresidenz (Alter Markt). A lively sports bar and pub in the heart of Mönchengladbach, attracting Borussia fans throughout the day on home matchdays. It offers a wide range of beers, pub food and live sport.
Nordpark Fan Zone. The large open area surrounding Borussia-Park becomes the focal point before every home match. Food stalls, beer stands, live entertainment and thousands of supporters create one of the Bundesliga's best pre-match atmospheres as fans gather before kick-off.
FohlenPlatz at Borussia_Park. Located directly outside the stadium, this dedicated fan area fills with Borussia supporters before and after matches. Street food, drinks, live music and fan activities make it one of the busiest meeting points around the ground.
Hannen Alt & Altbierkneipen (City Centre). Several traditional pubs throughout Mönchengladbach serve the locally famous Hannen Alt and other regional beers. These long-established venues are popular with Borussia supporters looking for an authentic Rhineland football experience.
Waldhaus 12 (Nordpark). Situated within walking distance of Borussia-Park, Waldhaus 12 is a popular restaurant and beer garden where supporters meet before and after matches. Its relaxed atmosphere and outdoor seating make it a favourite on matchdays, particularly during the warmer months.
