Fulham FC Ground & Tickets

Ground: Craven Cottage

Capacity: 29,600

Location: Stevenage Road, London

Country: United Kingdom

The Ground

  • Craven Cottage, nestled on the banks of the River Thames in Fulham, West London, has been the iconic home of Fulham FC since 1896. Originally established as a royal hunting lodge in 1780, the site was converted into a football ground following Fulham’s acquisition and development in the late 19th century.

  • Today, Craven Cottage remains one of the most historic and picturesque stadiums in English football, cherished for its unique riverside setting and timeless charm. Unlike many modern venues, the stadium has preserved its classic character, with the distinctive Johnny Haynes Stand, designed by famed architect Archibald Leitch, still standing as a Grade II listed structure.

  • With a current seating capacity of approximately 24,500, Craven Cottage is one of the smaller Premier League stadiums but offers an intimate and atmospheric matchday experience. The record attendance of 49,335 was set in 1938 during an FA Cup tie against Millwall, long before the ground became all-seater.

  • Architecturally, Craven Cottage reflects over a century of gradual development. The famous Cottage Pavilion, positioned in the southwest corner, adds a uniquely traditional element rarely found in modern stadiums. Recent redevelopment has included the ambitious Riverside Stand expansion, which will further modernize the ground while increasing capacity to over 29,600 and enhancing fan facilities—all while preserving the stadium’s historic identity.

Official Tickets

  • Fulham Ticketing Membership. An official Fulham FC Membership is highly recommended for priority access to match tickets. Members receive early access to tickets before general sale, which is essential for high-demand Premier League fixtures.

  • Fulham Ticket Exchange (Official Resale). Fulham operates an Official Ticket Exchange for sold-out fixtures. Season ticket holders can list their seats for resale at face value, and members have priority access to these returned tickets. Tickets can appear anytime leading up to the match, but supply is limited and demand is high.

  • Hospitality & Premium Packages. If regular match tickets are unavailable, Fulham offers Hospitality & Premium Packages through their official website. These include premium seating, fine dining, lounge access, and matchday experiences in areas like the new Riverside Stand. Hospitality packages often remain available even when standard tickets are sold out.

  • Book as Early as Possible. Tickets typically go on sale 6–8 weeks before each home fixture. High-profile matches (against top-6 clubs) often sell out during the members-only window. Sign up for Fulham’s email alerts and watch the sales calendar carefully.
