Ground: Balmoor Stadium

Capacity: 3,150

Location: Balmoor Terrace, Peterhead

Country: Scotland, United Kingdom

The Ground

Balmoor Stadium, located on the edge of Peterhead, has been the home of Peterhead F.C. since 1997. One of the most northerly senior football grounds in Scotland, it offers a distinctive and often windswept matchday experience shaped by its coastal surroundings.

With a capacity of just over 3,000, the stadium is compact and traditional in layout. The main stand provides covered seating and facilities, while the rest of the ground includes a mix of terracing and open areas. One of Balmoor’s more unusual features is the hedge that runs along part of the pitch perimeter, giving it a unique and slightly old-school feel.

The artificial pitch ensures matches are rarely postponed, and the tight layout keeps supporters close to the action. The atmosphere is friendly and community-driven, reflecting the club’s strong local support.
