The Ground
Links Park, located close to the coast in Montrose, has been the home of Montrose F.C. since 1887. One of the oldest grounds in Scotland, it offers a traditional football experience shaped by history, simplicity, and a strong community connection.
With a capacity of just under 5,000, the stadium is a mix of seating and terracing. The Main Stand provides covered seating and facilities, while other areas of the ground retain classic standing sections, giving it a proper old-school feel. Its compact layout keeps supporters close to the pitch, helping generate a lively atmosphere despite modest crowds.
Situated near the North Sea, Links Park can be exposed to coastal conditions, adding another layer of unpredictability to matches, a feature shared with several grounds along Scotland’s east coast.
