The Ground

  • The Etihad Stadium, officially known as the City of Manchester Stadium, stands as one of the most modern and dynamic football arenas in England. Located in East Manchester, it has been the proud home of Manchester City Football Club since 2003, accompanying the club’s remarkable rise to domestic and European success in the 21st century.

  • With a capacity of 52,900, the Etihad offers a world-class matchday experience. Its sweeping, bowl-shaped design ensures excellent sightlines from every seat, while the atmosphere inside—particularly during high-stakes Premier League and Champions League nights—is charged with the energy of City’s passionate fanbase. The iconic South Stand, known for its vocal support, helps drive the matchday intensity, while modern facilities throughout the stadium bring comfort and accessibility to all supporters.

  • The Etihad’s design reflects both ambition and innovation. Originally built for the 2002 Commonwealth Games, the stadium was later adapted for football use and has since undergone further redevelopment, including the expansion of the South Stand and the creation of state-of-the-art hospitality suites. The surrounding Etihad Campus—featuring the City Football Academy, training grounds, and community facilities—has transformed the area into a global hub for football excellence.

  • Beyond the matches, the Etihad serves as a cultural and community landmark. Fans can visit the Manchester City Museum & Stadium Tour, which offers insight into the club’s history and modern achievements, including Premier League titles and a historic treble. Visitors can walk through the players’ tunnel, sit in Pep Guardiola’s dugout seat, and experience behind-the-scenes access to one of the most successful football clubs in the world.
