The Ground
Brisbane Road, located in Leyton, East London, has served as the home of Leyton Orient FC since 1937. Though football has been played on the site since 1890, it was officially developed as a dedicated football ground following Leyton Orient’s move from Millfields Road.
Today, Brisbane Road remains owned and operated by Leyton Orient FC. The ground stands as a key part of the local community, with a unique setup that incorporates residential apartments built into three corners of the stadium during its redevelopment.
With a current seating capacity of approximately 9,271, Brisbane Road offers one of the most intimate matchday experiences in English professional football. Its record attendance was 34,345 for an FA Cup match against West Ham United in 1964, before modern safety regulations reduced capacity.
Architecturally, Brisbane Road reflects decades of incremental development rather than a single, large-scale reconstruction. The ground features four fully seated stands, with major renovations occurring between 2005 and 2007 to modernize facilities, install new floodlights, and improve the stadium’s infrastructure.
Official Tickets
Leyton Orient Ticketing Membership. While Leyton Orient FC does not require full membership for every match, purchasing an O’s Membership is highly recommended — especially for priority access to high-demand fixtures, cup matches, or local derbies. Members often get earlier access to ticket sales, discounts, and loyalty rewards.
For most regular matches, tickets generally go on sale to the public and availability is good. However, bigger cup games or local derbies (vs. Charlton, Millwall, West Ham in cups, etc.) may sell out quickly.
Leyton Orient Ticket Exchange (Resale Platform). Currently, Leyton Orient does not operate a full resale exchange like many Premier League clubs. Once tickets are sold out, you must check directly with the club for any late returns or releases. The club may occasionally offer returns closer to matchday but this is handled manually through their box office.
