Ground: Broadfield Stadium

Capacity: 6,134

Location: Winfield Wy., Crawley

Country: United Kingdom

The Ground

  • The Broadfield Stadium, located in the Broadfield area of Crawley, West Sussex, has been the home of Crawley Town FC since 1997. The club relocated to the purpose-built venue from their former ground at Town Mead, which was sold for redevelopment.

  • Still owned by Crawley Borough Council and operated by Crawley Town FC, the stadium plays a central role in the local sporting community. It also occasionally hosts other teams, including Brighton & Hove Albion Women’s side.

  • With a current capacity of 6,134, Broadfield Stadium offers an intimate and lively matchday atmosphere typical of lower-league English football. The record attendance of 5,572 was set in October 2023 during a League Two clash with Wrexham.

  • Architecturally, the stadium has evolved gradually rather than through a single large redevelopment. It comprises four stands, including the West Stand which houses the club's offices, dressing rooms, and hospitality facilities. The East Stand, added in 2012 to meet Football League requirements, increased seating and improved overall spectator experience.
