Colchester United FC Ground & Tickets

Ground: Jobserve Community Stadium

Capacity: 10,105

Location: United Way, Colchester

Country: United Kingdom

The Ground

  • The JobServe Community Stadium, located in the Myland suburb of Colchester, Essex, has served as the home of Colchester United Football Club since its opening in 2008. Replacing the club’s historic Layer Road ground, the stadium marks a new era for Colchester United bringing a modern, purpose-built venue to one of England’s oldest towns.

  • Designed with functionality and fan experience in mind, the JobServe Community Stadium (formerly known simply as the Colchester Community Stadium) is a compact, all-seater ground with a current capacity of around 10,105. While smaller than many League One or Championship grounds, it stands out for its tidy, symmetrical design, offering clear sightlines from every seat and full cover from the elements across all four stands.

  • The stadium was built as part of a joint project between the club and Colchester Borough Council, and its location near Junction 28 of the A12 makes it easily accessible by road. Surrounded by open space and modern infrastructure, the ground is a marked contrast to Layer Road’s intimate, inner-town setting. The move reflected both the ambitions of the club and the evolving needs of a growing supporter base.

  • In addition to hosting Colchester United fixtures, the stadium has become a multi-use venue for events, conferences, and concerts, helping to integrate sport and community in the local area.

No physical collection is necessary. Progress pricing applies, meaning prices rise closer to matchday—so buying early saves you money.

  • Club Shop or Box Office. For some fixtures, particularly high-demand matches, you may be able to buy tickets in person at the club shop or stadium box office, though online is preferred and staff will direct you accordingly.
