The Ground


  • The American Express Community Stadium, commonly known as the Amex Stadium, is a modern and striking football venue nestled in the scenic surroundings of Falmer, near Brighton. Since its official opening in 2011, it has served as the proud home of Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club, marking a significant step forward from the club's previous temporary homes.

  • With a capacity of over 31,000, the Amex offers fans an intimate yet vibrant matchday experience. Its sweeping, curved architecture ensures excellent sightlines from every seat, creating a close connection between the supporters and the pitch. 

  • Architecturally, the stadium is both functional and visually impressive. Its flowing rooflines and integration into the South Downs landscape make it one of the most aesthetically pleasing stadiums in the country. The inside isdesigned with fan comfort in mind.

  • Brighton & Hove Albion's Official Portal  All home match tickets are sold exclusively on Brighton’s official ticket portal:  tickets.brightonandhovealbion.com

  • Membership & Priority Access.  You don’t need a membership, but non-members seldom access Premier League home tickets, as demand is very high. Types of priority access (in order): Season ticket holders followed by MyAlbion+ members and General sale, which often only occurs once other windows pass. New members face a 14-day cooling-off period, so join early to be eligible

  • Ticket Exchange (Official Resale). Once a match sells out, Season Ticket holders and MyAlbion+ members can list unwanted tickets at face value plus a small fee. Resale tickets are automatically displayed on the official portal—great chance to snag a seat.

  • Hospitality & Premium Packages There are upscale matchday options via the 1901 Club and hospitality suites (e.g., Goldstone Restaurant, Legends Box).  Contact via Club website

How to get to the Stadium


By Train

To Brighton Station, At Brighton Station, transfer to a Southern train to Falmer

By Car

No general parking at the stadium on matchdays (enforced to reduce traffic). 

Instead, you have three main options with  free Park & Ride Mill Road (BN1 8ZF) (10 min. to Stadium), Brighton Racecourse (BN2 9XZ) (15 min. to Stadium),  Brighton Racecourse (BN2 9XZ) (10 min. to Stadium).  Shuttle buses run every few minutes before and after the match.

Airport / International Train/Travel

  • London Gatwick Airport (LGW)

  • From Gatwick, take direct train to Brighton (30 min).   Then transfer Brighton → Falmer by train or bus

  • Eurostar: London St Pancras International

  • Thameslink runs direct services from London St Pancras to Brighton Station. Travel Tim a bout 90 min.

Car and Ferry

  • Calais > Dover:  drive down to Brighton/Falmer. From Calais Car Ferry to Amex Stadium takes about 3 hours.

Around the Stadium


The Swan Inn – Located just steps from Falmer station and the Amex, this classic country-style pub is a favourite for pre- and post-match pints. Compact inside but with outdoor space and plenty of atmosphere on matchdays.

The Brighton Bierhaus – A 10-minute drive or short train ride into central Brighton. A craft beer lover’s spot with local brews on tap, buzzing on matchdays and a great place to mingle with fellow Seagulls fans.

The King & Queen – In the city centre (by Old Steine), this huge, Tudor-style pub shows live sport on big screens and gets packed with fans before heading up to Falmer. Big drinks selection, hearty food, and a real football vibe.

The Caxton Arms – Tucked behind the North Laine area (20 mins from Brighton Station), it’s quieter than most pubs near the ground but offers top-notch food and a relaxed pre-match setting.

The Evening Star – Just outside Brighton station, perfect for a pint before hopping the train to Falmer. Known for its strong real ale game and independent vibe, it’s a local favourite among more seasoned fans.

The Railway Inn (Portslade) – A little further west, but if you’re driving in or staying outside Brighton, it’s a cozy, no-nonsense pub with football on the TVs and a welcoming crowd.
