Club History: Rimini FC 1912 was founded as Libertas Rimini in 1912, and first adopted their trademark red and white shirts in the 1920s. The club name was changed to Rimini Calcio in 1938 after a bankruptcy. Main rivals of Rimini FC are Cesena FC and SS Teramo Calcio.
Crest: The crest contains the club colours Red and White and the City of Rimini Coat of Arms. In the Coat of Arms there are the Ponte di Tiberio (Tiberius Bridge) and Arco d’Augusto (Arch of Augustus) represented, two main monuments in Rimini. The new crest highlights the identity of Rimini FC, always recognized in the iconic red and white checkers. At its center is the “SI” symbol of Sigismondo Pandolfo Malatesta, a bold leader who left indelible marks like the Castle and the Malatesta Temple—but also “SI” as the union of Sigismondo and Isotta, and the love that made them stronger together. A story that is us: a unique force ready to fight with pride and with love for our colors, like Sigismondo did for his Isotta, against all odds.
