The Ground

Ochilview Park, standing proudly in the heart of Stenhousemuir, has been the home of Stenhousemuir Football Club since 1890. While more modest in scale than Scotland’s grandest arenas, Ochilview carries a character and authenticity that embody the spirit of lower-league Scottish football. For generations of supporters, it represents tradition, resilience, and the close-knit bond between club and community.

With a capacity of just under 4,000, Ochilview offers an intimate and distinctive matchday setting. The Main Stand, running along the touchline, provides seated accommodation and houses the club offices, dressing rooms, and hospitality areas. Opposite sits a covered terrace, while the goals are flanked by compact stands and open areas that maintain the classic feel of a traditional Scottish ground. The artificial playing surface, installed to ensure year-round reliability, reflects the club’s practical approach and commitment to sustainability.

On matchdays, Ochilview comes alive with the voices of the Warriors faithful. The proximity of the stands to the pitch ensures that every shout, chant, and cheer carries directly to the players. There is no barrier between fan and action, supporters stand just yards from the touchline, creating an atmosphere that is raw, vocal, and deeply personal. Visiting teams quickly discover that despite its size, Ochilview can be an intimidating venue when the home support finds its voice.

Situated on Gladstone Road in Stenhousemuir, Falkirk, the ground is easily accessible. Larbert railway station lies within walking distance, offering connections to Glasgow and Edinburgh, while nearby road links, including the M876 motorway, provide convenient access by car. For supporters arriving on foot through the surrounding streets, the approach to Ochilview is part of the charm, a traditional Scottish football experience where the stadium rises unexpectedly amid houses and local businesses.
