The Ground
Rugby Park, located in the town of Kilmarnock, has been the home of Kilmarnock F.C. since 1899. One of the most established grounds in Scottish football, it has evolved into a modern, fully seated stadium while retaining strong ties to the club’s long history.
With a capacity of just over 15,000, the stadium is made up of four distinct stands, creating a compact and enclosed environment. The Moffat Stand is the largest and most modern, while the other stands maintain a more traditional feel. Rugby Park was also notable for being one of the first stadiums in the UK to install an artificial pitch in the modern era, adding a unique aspect to the playing experience.
The stadium’s layout keeps supporters close to the pitch, generating a solid atmosphere on matchdays, particularly when the home support gathers behind the goals. Its blend of tradition and modernisation reflects the club’s position as one of Scotland’s long-standing sides.
