The Ground
Caledonian Stadium, located on the shores of the Moray Firth just outside Inverness city centre, has been the home of Inverness Caledonian Thistle F.C. since 1996. Built following the merger of Inverness Caledonian and Inverness Thistle, it represents a more modern era of Highland football.
With a capacity of just over 7,500, the stadium is fully seated but relatively open in design, with stands on three sides and space for potential expansion. The Main Stand houses the key facilities, while the North and South Stands provide additional seating. Its waterfront location gives it a distinctive feel, though it can also mean exposure to wind and weather.
While not as enclosed as older grounds, the stadium offers excellent views and a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere, with a loyal home support that creates a strong sense of identity on matchdays.
