The Ground

  • Home Park, located in Central Park, Plymouth, Devon, has been the home of Plymouth Argyle Football Club since 1901. Nestled on the edge of one of the city’s largest green spaces, the stadium combines scenic surroundings with a rich footballing heritage that reflects both the passion of the local fanbase and the deep roots of the club in the South West.

  • The ground was originally opened in 1901 and has been steadily developed over the years. A significant milestone came in the early 2000s when three sides of the ground were rebuilt, modernising the look and feel of the stadium. More recently, in 2019, the club completed a major redevelopment of the Mayflower Grandstand, transforming it into a modern facility while preserving its iconic status within the ground.

  • Today, Home Park is fully owned and operated by Plymouth Argyle FC and stands as one of the most impressive stadiums outside the top tiers of English football. With a capacity of approximately 17,000, it is the largest stadium in Devon and Cornwall, often referred to as the "Theatre of Greens" by the club’s passionate supporters.

  • The stadium features a four-stand configuration, with the Devonport End and Lyndhurst Stand known for their vocal support, and the newly refurbished Mayflower Grandstand offering premium seating, media, and hospitality facilities.
