The Ground

  • Wetherby Road, today officially known as the EnviroVent Stadium, has been the home of Harrogate Town A.F.C. since the club’s formation in 1914. For over a century, the ground has grown alongside the club, evolving from modest beginnings into a venue that now stages Football League matches, while retaining its roots as a true community ground.

  • With a capacity of just over 5,000, the EnviroVent Stadium is one of the more compact venues in the Football League, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in character. The intimacy of the ground means fans are close to the action, creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere. The Main Stand provides seating and hospitality facilities, while the Coppice End is the focal point for the noisiest Harrogate supporters. Opposite, the Myrings Stand stretches along the touchline, and the Family Stand ensures there is space for younger fans and families to enjoy the matchday experience. Together, the stands create a stadium where every voice carries and every moment feels shared.

  • The ground has undergone significant redevelopment in recent years to meet Football League standards, with new stands, upgraded facilities, and modern touches enhancing the experience while preserving the club’s approachable, local feel.

  • Located on Wetherby Road, just south of Harrogate town centre, the stadium is easy to reach by car, bus, or on foot. Harrogate railway station is within walking distance, linking the town to Leeds and York, and making it straightforward for both home and away supporters to travel in. On matchdays, the surrounding streets and local pubs take on a buzz of anticipation, adding to the sense that this is a club firmly embedded in its community.
