Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza KS Crest History
Between 2005 and 2009, following the arrival of title sponsor Bruk-Bet, the club introduced a new shield-shaped crest in blue, yellow, and white. The badge prominently displayed the Bruk-Bet name diagonally across the centre, while the word Nieciecza appeared along the right-hand side. At the top stood a black elephant, which soon became the club's defining symbol and inspired its nickname "Słoniki" (The Elephants). The founding year 1922 appeared on a ribbon at the bottom, while the shield reflected the beginning of the club's rapid rise through the Polish league system following major investment from the Witkowski family.
From 2009 to 2010, the crest underwent a minor redesign. The overall shield shape and colour scheme remained unchanged, but the elephant was replaced by a stylised Bruk-Bet company logo, giving greater emphasis to the club's corporate identity. The Bruk-Bet wordmark, Nieciecza, and the founding year 1922 were retained, creating a cleaner and more modern appearance while preserving the club's visual identity.
Between 2010 and 2021, after the club adopted the name Termalica Bruk-Bet Nieciecza KS, the badge was completely redesigned. The new shield featured an orange upper section with the word TERMALICA, reflecting the addition of the Termalica brand, while the lower section displayed BRUK-BET in white on a dark blue background. The orange elephant returned to the centre as the club's principal symbol, with K.S. on either side, a white ribbon bearing Nieciecza, and the founding year 1922 at the bottom. The introduction of orange and navy blue replaced the traditional yellow-and-blue colours and became closely associated with the club's historic rise to the Ekstraklasa.
Since 2021, Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza has used a simplified and more contemporary crest. The shield retains the club's distinctive orange and navy blue colours but removes the elephant, replacing it with a stylised geometric elephant head integrated into the Bruk-Bet corporate emblem. The words BRUK-BET and TERMALICA are displayed prominently across the badge.

Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza KS Club History
Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza KS was founded in 1922 in the tiny village of Nieciecza, in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship. Although the club traces its origins to football being organised in the village in 1922, it was formally re-established after the Second World War as LZS Nieciecza. For decades, the club competed in regional amateur leagues and remained largely unknown outside its local area.
The turning point in the club's history came in the early 2000s, when Danuta and Krzysztof Witkowski, owners of the construction company Bruk-Bet, began investing heavily in the club. The sponsorship transformed Nieciecza from a small village team into one of the fastest-rising clubs in Polish football. Between 2004 and 2010, the club achieved a remarkable series of promotions, climbing from the lower regional divisions to the I Liga, Poland's second tier, in just a few seasons. The club also adopted the Bruk-Bet name, later adding Termalica, another company within the Witkowski business group.
The greatest achievement in the club's history came in 2015, when Bruk-Bet Termalica finished second in the I Liga and secured promotion to the Ekstraklasa for the first time. The achievement attracted international attention because Nieciecza, with a population of around 750 people, became the smallest village ever to have a club compete in the top division of a major European football league. The remarkable story earned the club worldwide recognition as one of football's greatest underdog success stories.
In their debut 2015–16 Ekstraklasa season, Termalica exceeded expectations by comfortably avoiding relegation and finishing in mid-table. The club gained a reputation for disciplined football and excellent organisation despite having one of the league's smallest budgets and smallest home ground.
After three consecutive seasons in the top flight, the club was relegated in 2018. However, the setback proved temporary. Under coach Mariusz Lewandowski, Bruk-Bet Termalica finished as I Liga runners-up in 2020–21, earning an immediate return to the Ekstraklasa. Their second spell in the top division lasted only one season, as the club was relegated again in 2022.
The club continued to challenge for promotion and, after finishing second in the 2024–25 I Liga, secured a third promotion to the Ekstraklasa, demonstrating once again its ability to compete with clubs from Poland's largest cities despite representing one of the country's smallest communities.
The club's principal rivalries are with nearby Sandecja Nowy Sącz, Puszcza Niepołomice, and Wisła Kraków, while matches against Cracovia and Bruk-Bet's fellow Lesser Poland clubs have grown in importance as the club has established itself in professional football.
