With a capacity of just under 10,000, Firhill offers an intimacy that modern mega-stadiums cannot replicate. The stands sit close to the pitch, ensuring that every shout from the terraces is heard and every tackle feels personal. The Jackie Husband Stand, named after the legendary former Thistle player, dominates one side of the ground and houses the main facilities, while the John Lambie Stand, paying tribute to another iconic figure in the club’s history, provides the stadium’s visual identity with its steep seating and commanding presence.

Official online ticket sales. You can purchase match tickets ahead of kick-off via their ticketing system (often powered by the Fanbase platform), where you can choose your match and seat and receive tickets digitally. Tickets are usually available in your Fanbase wallet or on your phone, making entry on match day quick and easy.
For many fixtures, tickets are not sold at the gate on match day, so it’s recommended to buy online or before arriving.

How to get to the Stadium
Via Train
Glasgow Central Station or Glasgow Queen Street Station. From Queen Street, walk north through the city centre towards Maryhill. It’s straightforward and popular with away fans on matchdays.
From Queen Street or Central, walk to Buchanan Street Subway Station. Take the Subway (Outer Circle) towards Hillhead. Get off at Kelvinbridge or Hillhead. Walk 15–20 minutes to Firhill.
By Car
Exit the M8 at Junction 17 (Great Western Road / Anniesland / Clydebank). Follow signs for A804 / Maryhill Road. Turn onto Maryhill Road (A81) heading north. After about 1 mile, turn right onto Firhill Road. No large official stadium car park for general supporters. Firhill Road side streets, Murano Street / Wyndford Road area, Maryhill Road (short walk, more turnover). Park near Kelvinbridge Subway Station or Hillhead Subway Station.

Before and After the Match
The 1314 Club (Firhill Stadium). The official matchday social space inside Firhill Stadium. Named after the year the club was founded, it’s open to supporters before and after games, serving drinks, food, and pre-match build-up on screens. Family-friendly, relaxed, and ideal if you want to stay right at the ground.
The Woodside Inn (Maryhill Road). One of the most popular pubs with Partick Thistle fans, just a 10–15 minute walk from Firhill. Traditional Glasgow boozer, friendly staff, football chat flowing freely, and usually a healthy red-and-yellow presence on matchdays.
The Rollo (Maryhill Road). A dependable pre-match stop for Thistle supporters heading up Maryhill Road. Spacious, welcoming, and less frantic than city-centre pubs, making it a solid choice if you want a pint and conversation rather than wall-to-wall crowds.
The Botany (Great Western Road). A well-known West End pub about 15 minutes’ walk from the stadium. Popular with locals and students as well as football fans, it’s a good meeting point if you’re coming from Hillhead or Kelvinbridge subway stations.
The Maryhill Tavern (Maryhill Road). A no-frills, old-school local that sees a fair share of Thistle fans on matchdays. Not flashy, but genuine, exactly the sort of place that fits the club’s character.
The Lismore (Dumbarton Road). One of the West End’s best-known pubs and a favourite for those travelling in via Hillhead. Good beer selection, solid food, and a relaxed football crowd before making the walk or short hop up to Firhill.
The Doublet (Park Road). A classic Glasgow pub with TV sport, real ales, and a strong football culture. Popular with visiting supporters and home fans alike before moving on toward the stadium.
Inn Deep (Great Western Road / Kelvinbridge). Tucked beneath Kelvinbridge, this bar offers craft beer and food with a more modern edge. A good option if you’re mixing football with the West End pub scene before heading up to Firhill.
The Counting House (George Square, city centre). A large, central pub convenient for travelling supporters arriving at Queen Street or Central Station. From here, it’s an easy subway ride to Hillhead or Kelvinbridge, then a short walk to the ground.
