Dundee FC Ground & Tickets

Ground: Dens Park

Capacity: 11,775

Location: Sandeman Street, Dundee

Country: Scotland, United Kingdom

The Ground

Dens Park, located in the city of Dundee, has been the home of Dundee F.C. since 1899. One of the most historic and atmospheric grounds in Scotland, it is steeped in tradition and retains much of its old-school character, making it a favourite among groundhoppers.

With a capacity of just under 12,000, the stadium is fully seated but still reflects its origins, particularly in the towering Main Stand, which dates back to the early 20th century and remains a defining feature. The other stands, the Bob Shankly Stand, Bobby Cox Stand, and away section, form a tight, enclosed ground that keeps supporters close to the pitch.

One of Dens Park’s most unique aspects is its proximity to rivals — Dundee United F.C.’s Tannadice Park sits just across the same street, making this one of the closest derby stadium pairings in world football. This adds extra intensity to matchdays, particularly when the two sides meet.
