The Ground
The Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena, formerly known as the MSV-Arena, is the home of MSV Duisburg and one of the most modern football stadiums in Germany's Lower Rhine region. Located within Sportpark Duisburg, it has hosted the club's home matches since 2004, replacing the historic Wedaustadion, which had been MSV's home for more than 80 years.
With a capacity of 31,500, the Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena was purpose-built as a football stadium, bringing supporters much closer to the pitch than the old multi-purpose Wedaustadion. The fully covered four-stand design creates excellent acoustics, while the Nordkurve forms the heart of the stadium's atmosphere. Home to around 5,000 standing supporters, the Nordkurve is where MSV's most passionate fans create the noise, colour and passion that have become synonymous with the "Zebras."
One of the stadium's most distinctive features is its location within Sportpark Duisburg, one of Germany's largest sports complexes. Surrounded by the Wedau Regatta Course, athletics facilities, an ice arena and other sporting venues, the stadium occupies a unique sporting landscape unlike almost any other football ground in the country. The arena also features 41 hospitality boxes, two giant video screens, and excellent sightlines from every stand, combining modern facilities with a traditional football atmosphere.
The stadium itself has an unusual history. Rather than demolishing the old Wedaustadion and building elsewhere, the new arena was constructed during the course of the 2003–04 season while MSV continued to play home matches on the same site. The four stands were opened one by one as construction progressed, allowing supporters to remain at their historic home throughout the redevelopment.

Buy through the official online MSV Ticket Shop. All home match tickets are released here. For most league fixtures, tickets go on sale several weeks before the match. High-profile games, local derbies, and cup fixtures can sell out quickly, so purchasing in advance is recommended.
Ticket Office at the Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena. If tickets remain available, they can usually be purchased at the stadium ticket offices on matchday. However, buying in advance is advised to avoid queues and to guarantee your preferred seat or standing area.

How to get to the Stadium
Via Train
Duisburg Hauptbahnhof (Hbf), Direct services operate from major cities including Düsseldorf, Cologne, Dortmund, Essen, Bochum and Frankfurt. At Duisburg Hbf, take the S-Bahn (recommended) S1 towards Düsseldorf and get off at Duisburg-Schlenk. From there, the stadium is approximately a 10-minute walk, with the route clearly signposted on matchdays. Alternatively take the U-Bahn: U79 towards Düsseldorf and alight at Grünewald, followed by a 10-minute walk through Sportpark Duisburg to the stadium. Or take Bus 923 or Bus 934 from Duisburg Hauptbahnhof and get off at MSV-Arena, which is directly outside the stadium
The S1 to Duisburg-Schlenk is generally the quickest and most popular route used by MSV supporters. After the match, extra public transport services usually operate, making it easy to return to Duisburg Hauptbahnhof or continue your journey across the Ruhr region.
By Car
From the A3 motorway: Take Exit 15 (Duisburg-Wedau) and follow the signs for MSV-Arena/Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena. From the A59 motorway: Take the Duisburg-Zentrum exit and follow the matchday signage towards Sportpark Duisburg and the stadium.
Supporters can use the official stadium car parks surrounding the arena, including P1, P2, P3 and P4, all located within a short walk of the stadium. Parking attendants and temporary signs help direct traffic to the nearest available spaces on matchdays. MSV-Arena

Before and After the Match
Finkenkrug (Duisburg City Centre). One of Duisburg's best-known traditional pubs, Finkenkrug is famous for its enormous selection of German and international beers. Popular with both locals and MSV Duisburg supporters, it offers a lively atmosphere before and after home matches.
Webster Brauhaus (Dellplatz). A traditional German brewpub located in the heart of Duisburg. Brewing its own beer on site and serving classic regional dishes, Webster is a favourite meeting place for supporters before heading to the Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena.
König Pilsener Wirtshaus (City Centre). A popular pub and restaurant serving traditional German food alongside a wide range of local beers. Many MSV fans gather here before taking public transport to the stadium.
Faktorei 21 (Innenhafen). Situated in Duisburg's modern Inner Harbour district, Faktorei 21 combines a restaurant, beer garden and bar in a waterfront setting. It is a popular choice for supporters looking to enjoy food and drinks before or after the match.
Innenhafen Duisburg. Around a 10-minute drive from the stadium, the revitalised Inner Harbour is home to numerous pubs, bars, breweries and restaurants. Many supporters meet here before travelling to the stadium, while others return after the match to enjoy the lively waterfront atmosphere.
Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena Forecourt. The open area surrounding the stadium fills with thousands of MSV supporters before kick-off. Food stalls, beer stands and fan gathering points create a traditional German football atmosphere as supporters prepare for the match.
Fährmann (Ruhrort). One of Duisburg's best-known traditional riverside pubs, offering regional beers and hearty German cuisine. Popular with locals and visiting supporters, it provides a relaxed setting after a day at the football.
Zum Hübi (Neudorf). A long-established neighbourhood pub just a short distance from the stadium. Known for its friendly atmosphere, local beers and loyal MSV clientele, it is a favourite pre-match meeting place for regular supporters heading to the Nordkurve.
