The Ground

  • The Bescot Stadium, located in the Bescot area of Walsall, West Midlands, has been the home of Walsall Football Club since 1990. Purpose-built to replace the club’s historic Fellows Park ground, it offers a compact, modern environment designed to provide excellent viewing and matchday comfort for supporters.

  • The stadium officially opened in August 1990 with a friendly against Aston Villa, marking the beginning of a new era for the Saddlers. Designed with practicality and supporter experience in mind, it features four distinct all-seater stands, including the large two-tiered Tile Choice Main Stand that dominates the ground. Its layout ensures unobstructed sightlines from every seat.

  • Today, the Bescot Stadium remains owned and operated by Walsall FC. Its current all-seated capacity is approximately 11,300, making it one of the more intimate stadiums in the English Football League. The venue’s design also incorporates easy access for fans, with on-site parking and a railway station — Bescot Stadium station — located directly beside the ground.
